Belgians in debt

According to recent numbers and studies, a great number of Belgians cannot pay back their debts.

In over a month, the number of people who couldn’t repay increased with 1004 persons, which makes a total of 362,955 Belgians.

The newspaper La Libre suggests that the financial en the economical crisis of 2008 is the cause of this high number that is also considered to be a record number.

At this point 7,3 per cent of the population is in debt and known as a bad payer.
